Dancing In The Streets Part 1 (Grateful Dead) Movie

Grateful Dead - Dancing In The Streets

Grateful Dead performing "Dancing in the Streets" on 4/26/77. I had to cut the video in half due to the 10 minute limit, and since there wasn't a really good place to cut I just split it in half.

this might be a rare case where i actually like the album version better. the horns in the album version really bring it out

  12. MattL0318 says:

    Doesn't hold a candle to "Dancin" from 5-8-77. :-)

  13. MrMadaicseason says:

@MattL0318 was 5 8 77 at Cornell in Ithaca, NY?? My college buddy had a tape from around that time of dancing..it was the last song of the first set...it was freaking epic

  14. MattL0318 says:

@MrMadaicseason Yes. The whole show is "freaking epic".

  15. Jsizzler2 says:

I'd say the entire spring '77 tour was exceptionally amazing as well as legendary...

  17. yguaray says:

Although I agree, that one at Cornell in particularly good I was lucky enough to have seen this at least 3 times back then with the last one at Winterland 1978-10-20(Fri) being the best; even though I still can see clearly in color in my mind at my 1st show (2nd day opening for The Who) Garcia with his foot on the wah-wah playing slide, something I don't think I ever saw again!

  21. jgfunk says:

@MattL0318 yeah 5-8-77 is probably the best, but there's another one that is really underrated. Cape Cod Coliseum 10-27-79. Check it out folks

  22. MattL0318 says:

@jgfunk Will do. Thanks for the heads-up. Also, if you haven't already, be sure to check out 1977-10-29 from Northern Illinois University. It's freakin' brilliant and I've never heard "Eyes" played that way.
