Grateful Dead - Foolish Heart

Cute and cozy--does fashion get any better than that? A fun polka-dot print gives this French terry pullover a thoroughly modern look. Two front pockets help keep your hands toasty, while the tie at the neckline lets you bundle up against the cold. From Sport Savvy(TM) Activewear.

    @TheClownfight
    FYI- his heroin smoking lasted from 1977 until 1995, with brief periods of sobriety. though, i gotta say, he looks pretty damn healthy in this video. but that is not to rule it out. after all he IS wearing a black t-shirt (my guess? to hide the heroin stains)

  3. theotherone1965 says:

    he looks healthy to me!

  4. cbarrett34 says:

    @theotherone1965 how do you know he smoked it? maybe he snorted or shot it?

  5. Umberto2 says:

    @theotherone1965 Based on many biographies I've read, Garcia was mostly off heroin from '87 to '91 with probably the occasion indulgence. After Brent died, he went back to his old habits and it was bad. This was a solid period for the Grateful Dead in this video. I think Jerry was pretty healthy here.

  6. Umberto2 says:

    @cbarrett34 He smoked it. Read Rock Scully's book, or "Dark Star." It's all in there.

  7. kaptinvt says:

    i love weir's strange but awesome rhythm parts...it's like he's playing solo rhythm and makes his guitar scream a bit..you can hear it at the 6;36 he did it a lot and even in hell in a bucket to help jerry go a bit further...love it...

  10. valdhi says:

    jerry is spot on here. doesn't look like a heroin thing to me. and why talk about that anymore. listen to the music play. remember. listen to him, people.
