Furthur "We Bid You Goodnight" 2-6-2010 Hard Rock Orlando Video

Furthur Rehearsal

Furthur is a rock band founded in 2009 by former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. The band's lineup also includes John Kadlecik of the Dark Star Orchestra on guitar, Jeff Chimenti of RatDog on keyboards, Jay Lane of RatDog on drums, and Joe Russo of the Benevento/Russo Duo on drums.[1] [edit]History In 2008, for the first time in four years, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh began performing together, with a reunion of The Dead. A few months after The Dead's 2009 tour the musicians announced that they had formed a new band with Kadlecik, Chimenti, Lane, and Russo. The band debuted with performances on September 2009, at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, California. They followed those shows up with a handful of more dates during 2009 including 5 shows in the northeast,[2] as well as live rehearsal sessions[3] and two New Years shows in California. During the New Years eve performances the band was joined by backing vocalists Zoe Ellis and Sunshine Garcia (no relation to Jerry Garcia). The band is also touring the US from the 2nd of February through the 8th of March 2010, and will perform in San Francisco to celebrate Phil Lesh's 70th birthday.[4]

Doesn"t anybody out there see this as being pretty much on the weak side? You need garcia"s voice thru out this song to make it sound right. i would have to say that anyone that saw the grateful dead in their "prime" and the "90"s do not fall under that category, do not go out to check this furtur stuff out . Phil and bob are musicians they need to play music but why is it they need to do garcia"s songs? After pig died did they do alligator,It hurts me too, the rub? No. So why do garcia"s?
