this is awesome, look at jerry and donna rock the shades, weir's got some jaw clenching goin on....it was '76...these guys are coked! no disrespect intended...just an observation, great video!

  8. SparkyT3D says:

@bear06460 She's always sexy, as long as she's not wailing during Playin'. Everything else Donna is just peachy.

  9. pajasper says:

Im sorry. If I was Jerry, I would have heard one practice with her and said "NO F-ING WAY" and if you don't like it Keith you can high step out of town.

  10. penningtonant says:

I think Donna is a great addition. Just because she is a female, we all expected her to be some phenomenal singer. She is great, but think...Bob, Jerry and Phil can't sing either. And it is still good. She was added flavour, and it was cool.

The Keith and Gonna "era"was great next to the pig pen "era" it was my favorite.Never was a big fan of Brent. He was good but Ron and Keith were the best.

  12. tabber87 says:

@penningtonant People always say "Jerry can't sing". I think Garcia had one of the most sincere voices ever heard in "popular" music.

Bob could be schmaltzy at times, but I definitely wouldn't say he "couldn't" sing.

Aside from the studio Box of Rain, Phil's voice sucked and he was terrible live but he wasn't a "singer".

Donna was tone deaf and her idiosyncrasies didn't mesh with the Dead sound at all. She was the only blemish on the greatest band's greatest era.
