Who's John Scofield?... John Scofield (born December 26, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio), often referred to as "Sco," is an American jazz guitarist and composer, who has played and collaborated with Miles Davis, Dave Liebman, Joe Henderson, Charles Mingus, Joey Defrancesco, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell, Pat Martino, Mavis Staples, Phil Lesh, Billy Cobham, Medeski Martin & Wood, George Duke, Jaco Pastorius, John Mayer, and many other well known artists. At ease in the bebop idiom, Scofield is also well versed in jazz fusion, funk, blues, soul, and other forms of modern American music.

    Can I tell you something guys? i hate these "john sco fans", or mayer, whatever, who still comparing them. they are both excellent musicians of different ages, they gave to us a lot of contribution for our music, extensally.

    All I can say is, there's a desgusting influence of things that you see on MEDIA: fuck them! john mayer has a incredible career, dosen't matter what you see on television! if you listen for the B sides, you will understand.
