Furthur Rehearsal

Furthur is a rock band founded in 2009 by former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. The band's lineup also includes John Kadlecik of the Dark Star Orchestra on guitar, Jeff Chimenti of RatDog on keyboards, Jay Lane of RatDog on drums, and Joe Russo of the Benevento/Russo Duo on drums.[1] [edit]History In 2008, for the first time in four years, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh began performing together, with a reunion of The Dead. A few months after The Dead's 2009 tour the musicians announced that they had formed a new band with Kadlecik, Chimenti, Lane, and Russo. The band debuted with performances on September 2009, at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, California. They followed those shows up with a handful of more dates during 2009 including 5 shows in the northeast,[2] as well as live rehearsal sessions[3] and two New Years shows in California. During the New Years eve performances the band was joined by backing vocalists Zoe Ellis and Sunshine Garcia (no relation to Jerry Garcia). The band is also touring the US from the 2nd of February through the 8th of March 2010, and will perform in San Francisco to celebrate Phil Lesh's 70th birthday.[4] February 13, 2010 Set 1: Playing In The Band Wang Dang Doodle Friend Of The Devil Greatest Story Ever Told Ship Of Fools Sittin' On Top Of The World Truckin' New Speedway Boogie Set 2: Help On The Way Slipknot Franklin's Tower Cassidy Turn On Your Lovelight St. Stephen Revolution The Eleven So Many Roads Let it Grow Playing In The ...
